Truro - Lloyd Alvin Hudson, 64,
282 James Street, Truro, died Thursday in Colchester Hospital, Truro.
Born in Country Harbour Mines, Guysborough County, he was a son of
the late Leonard and Dellis (Johnson) Hudson. He is survived by
his wife, the former Jean Archibald; five daughters,
Sharlene (Mrs Ronald Marshall), Earltown; Garnita (Mrs James Miller),
Winnipeg; Sherry (Mrs Douglas Maguire), Truro;
Mabel (Mrs William MacDonald), Sussex, N.B.; Lisa (Mrs Randy Blair),
Calgary; four sons, Ronnie and Larry, both of Truro;
Leonard (Lennie), Halifax; Terry, Bass River; 15 grandchildren;
four brothers, Robert, Trueman, Gerald and Everett,
all of Country Harbour; four sisters, Dorothy (Mrs Everett Keith) and Rita
(Mrs Raymond Sponagle), both of Country Harbour; Muriel (Mrs Robert Sullivan),
Pictou; Cora (Dolly) (Mrs Wallace Jack), Black Brook.
He was predeceased by a son, Trueman, in infancy; several brothers and sisters.
The remains will rest in Stormont Union Church, Stormont, Guysborough County,
after 2 p.m. Monday. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Stormont Union Church.
Interment will be in Stormont Cemetery.
