Purpose

Jason Williams practiced for hours every night as a kid. Now Jason is a proffesional basketball player, and an idolized person. I dedicate this section of the page to all of the kids and teens like myself who practice and practice every day. Those who train and try to make themselves better. Please visit this section every once and a while and get tips on how to get better, faster and stronger as a ball player.

27th T.O.D ever on this site:

In an interview, Jason said he takes the ball all around the house. In the kitchen? He's dribbling...he said that he just gets better the more he practices. Now, don't go playing with the ball in the house and break windows and stuff! Just take the ball into the garage (as long as it is empty and there aren't many windows to break, it's fine!) Then just dribble! Dribble under your legs, dribble behind your back. Practice make perfect, so practice dribbling and you'll get better at it. It's that simple! Just have the ball with you, and make it sort of an extension of your hand. Be a gymrat, just practice! I'll come back to update with better drills and stuff don't worry! Send Feedback!

If you haven't gotten all of the tips in the past and want to get better, hopefully this will help!

Do you ever get bored during timeouts and at half time while watching the game on TV? Well, if you do here's something to try...Start doing some push ups. Start with ten at a time, then gradually raise that number up. After ten, may be fifteen and then 20, and keep going from there ! It keeps you occupied but it also builds up strentgh! So get off the couch during those boring commercials and get stronger! It's cool ju

Okay, work HARD anytime. Work HARD shooting. Not only will it be a part of your arsenal but it will allow you to get to the hole a lot easier. If you are a threat to shoot, the defender plays you close. Once he's too close, you cross him/her over and drive HARD. Lay it up, dunk it, or dish it off. It's all because you're a threat to shoot.

Try to go to the nearest park...where all the REAL players play! Where the competiton is...that's where you should be! Play with guys bigger, and stronger than you. Learn from the best players in town! Playing with adults is good because you can learn from them, plus it's a lot more competitive! SEE YA!
