HIGHSCHOOL

Obviously, since I was born and raised in Brantford, I also went to high school there. Not a lot to tell though. Mostly, it was normal. Lots of homework, lots of friends.

I was in a lot groups and clubs. I joined clubs like OSAID, peer helpers, choir (I love to sing), morning announcements, etc. My biggest involvement in school though, and the thing that I'm most proud of, is my two years as editor of our school yearbook. I'm very VERY proud of them both. It was a tonne of work, very stressful and involved a whole lot of teeth pulling but in the end it all worked out beautifully.

I'm one of those few people who loved high school. I had great friends, and although I wasn't exactly popular, I did know a lot of the student body and a lot of people knew me. Mostly because I was so involved in school events and was always interacting with others. I got along with everyone and especially with my principal and a couple special teachers.

I also helped to organize a lot of events at my high school. The biggest of course, was the two yearbooks I worked on. I also helped a lot with fundraising. Mostly it was the friday bar-b-q's organized through my peer helper group that I worked with. I was especially devoted to it because all of the money raised went to the Chedoke McMaster Mothers Day Telethon and other similar charities. I truly believe, appreciate and in some respects, have benefitted from these groups.

UNIVERSITY

Right now I go to UWO (d-uh, I know) and I love it there. I know it has a bad rep. as being a snobbish school, I happen to not think it's true but then again pperhaps I am a snob too. That's your decision to make. Anyways, this year is my fourth, and last, year there. I will finally be graduating with my psychology degree. What am I going to do with that when I'm done school? Hell if I know, but if you have any ideas, please let meknow I'd love to hear them. My first year here, I lived at Saugeen-Maitland Hall (aka "The Zoo") and had the time of my life. I made some really good friends and definately reccomend residence to anyone going away to school. The next two years I spent living with friends and now I live at my parents again and I commute back and forth. I'm not so involved in school life, but I wish I were. The one, and consequenty the only, thing that I am doing this year is volunteering at our Student Development Centre. I'd tell anyone to go to school here. The towns beautiful, the people are friendly (in my opinion anyways) and the faculty are helpful (for the most part). FUTURE

Hopefully at some point in the future I will be admitted to the computer science department at this fine university (although it is no western, it is well known for it's math/ computer science program). What do I want to take ...... math and computer science of course.... if it wasn't for that I wouldn't change universities at all. In any case I have yet to apply, let alone be admitted so it's a mute point at the moment..... Once again, got any questions, click on the picture above.....
