This looks like a great psychological thriller that intelligent people will appreciate. Admittedly, it looks a bit like "C.O.P.S. meets the Exorcist", but I found the preview clips (available at the main site and the Haxan Films site) to be truly creepy.

I predict many films will copy the style of this movie after it comes out.

Comment: I highly doubt movie companies are gonna go from spending around 100 million a movie to 60 grand a movie.

Make an effort to keep the hype of this movie down. From the information I have gotten from websites and other sources of information, this movie will be best "enjoyed" if one goes to see it with VERY little background knowledge.

I've just seen the blair witch project and it is the scariest and the most tension filled movie i've ever seen. I would definitely recommend this movie to everybody who loves a good scare, or who just wants to see a movie that has breaks the barriers of hollywood.

I just caught the end of a show on E! that listed the website for The Blair Witch Project. I have read eveything I can find on this and cannot figure out if it is for real or not. In reading the timeline on www.blairwitch.com, I really thought it was a true story. I even found exerpts of news casts about the search for the missing filmmakers. Then I read that it was total fiction. So, what's the deal? I'm getting obsessed with this.

I have done a lot of research into this and I believe that its real, I've heard both stories saying that its real, and some other stories saying that its fake, but over all I believe that these three students saw the blair witch

Comment: First of all, If you see the suposevly dead students taking interviews on TV then that means that they aren't dead, right? The people who put up all the props were the people who thought up the movie.

you need to get me a copy of the movie right away, I need to see it, I am a relative of heather donahue's, and I haven't seen the footage yet, my family won't let me. I need to know what happened to my cousin. if you could help that would be great
