Here is a picture of me when I was about to turn 9. With me is my first CPK, Lew Jon. I received him from my mom and dad for having a good report card. He is a 1983 Coleco `Kid, #1 with beige shag hair and blue eyes that are very close together. He came wearing the outfit you see in this picture: a blue romper with a grey elephant on one of the lower corners and a white t-shirt underneath. We found him at Childrens Palace. I was lucky to get him, because it was Christmas time and there wern't many left on the shelf. In fact, what was left was gone before we ever left the store.
This is my sister, Meleea, who was 4 at the time. With her is her first CPK, Charlene Nicola. Charlene is a 1983 Coleco `Kid, #2 with a much desired shade of beige hair in two ponies. The rest of her hair is loopy. She has dark green eyes and freckles. She came wearing blue jeans, a light blue and white striped shirt, and a dark blue jacket. My mom, who was having a hard time finding CPKs, went to Treasure Chest and asked the guy if he had any CPKs left in the back. He went to look and came back with Charlene. Meleea was SO happy.
