Base: (Make 2) With Black -
Round 1: Make loop of yarn around fingers, crochet 12 hdc in loop. Slip st in first st to join. Tighten to form circle.
Round 2: Chain 1. 2 hdc in each hdc. (24)
Round 3: Chain 1. 2 hdc in first st, 1 hdc in next. *2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next*. Repeat * to * around, slip st in first st to join. (36)
Round 4: Chain 1. 2 hdc in first, 1 hdc in next two st. *2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next two st*. Repeat * to * around, slip st in first st to join. (48)
Round 5: Chain 1. 2 hdc in first, 1 hdc in next three st. *2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next three st*. Repeat * to * around, slip st in first st to join. (60)
Round 6: Chain 1. Hdc in each st around. (60)
Round 7: Repeat Round 6. Finish off. (60)
Sc two pieces together at edge, halfway around. Slip CD inside, continue sc around until closed. Slip st in first st to join. Finish off.
Purse: With Baby Pink
Round 1: Join in any stitch. Chain 1. Working in back loops only, hdc in each st around. Join with slip st.
Round 2: Chain 1. Working in BOTH loops, hdc in each st. around. Join with slip st.
Round 3-5: Repeat Round 2. Finish off after Round 5.
Round 6: With Black, Repeat Round 1.
Round 7-10: Repeat Round 2. Finish off after Round 10.
Round 11: With Pink, repeat Round 1.
Round 12-15: Repeat Round 2. Finish off after Round 15.
Round 16: With Black Repeat Round 1.
Round 17-18: Repeat Round 2. Finish off after Round 20.
Round 19: Chain 1. Hdc in same st, chain 1. *Skip next st, hdc in next st, chain 1*. Repeat * to * to end. Slip st in beginning st.
Round 20. Chain 1. Hdc in each st and chain 1 space around. Finish off.
Drawstring: Make two chains 90 stitches each. Thread one through spaces on Round 19. Tie two ends together. At opposite side of Round 19, thread second chain through spaces. Tie two ends together. Trim ends of both drawstrings. Weave back into chains, if preferred.
