What a dangerous emotion is anger to the soul. When anger is in us, takes away
our peace, our joy in the Lord. Following anger comes bitter tears, self-pity,
and no control of the situation. Anger comes from the dark one, and satan has
no place in us for we are children of the Lord.
PS 27:9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger:
thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O
God of my salvation.
PS 30: 5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
PS 77:9 Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his
tender mercies? Selah.
PS 78: 38 But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and
destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away
and did not stir up all his wrath.
PS 78: 50 He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death,
but gave their life over to the pestilence;
Oh how Merciful and Good our God is. He is slow to anger.. should we not be
the same? When first I begin to write words here, heart of me was angry. It
was this color i choose to quiet anger with prayer, and as I read God's words,
anger leaves me and my Lord's peace covers me again. Thank you Lord!
PS 85: 4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward
us to cease.
PS 90: 7 For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.
PS 90: 11 Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath
PRO 15: 1 A soft answer turneth away wrath; but grievous words stir up
anger.
MAT 5: 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother
without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and
whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of
the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in
danger of hell fire.
Amen! Shall we always think before we speak? And when we speak, let it be
with soft voice, so there shall be no mistaken identity between love and anger.
EPH 4: 26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.
EPH 4: 27 Neither give place to the devil.
Know we not when our time comes to die. Only words of care and love shall
pass my lips before I sleep for they may be the last words those round me shall hear. Satan comes disguised as anger, let him spend no time in mind or heart of you.
Oh Lord, in You do we place all trust, we ask Lord you save us from those
who persecute us and hurt us by their anger, and we ask our hearts and our
minds be loving and caring of all others we meet day to day, let us look on all
with Your Love Lord, let us speak with Thy voice, let us listen with Thy great
compassion. We thank you Lord God, for all blessings given to us each day,
for our salvation in you, for the forgiveness of our sins. All honor and Glory
be unto you O Lord. We bow before thee and sing Thy praises. You are our
all in all. In Jesus name we pray this. Amen
