Ephesians 3

By Revelation

Eph 3:1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

Paul was held prisoner in a house by Roman guards until his trial. But, in truth he would not be so arrested if he had not been a bold witness to the Gentiles. So he was a prisoner for the Gentiles and a prisoner , a willing slave of Jesus Christ. He suffering arrest as Jesus suffered at the hands of man for his Father God. Paul's heart and service was to his Lord Jesus. Who or what we love in our heart, becomes our master and we become slaves to this. May we not be slaves to man or posessions, but only to our Lord who loves us.

Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Eph 3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
Eph 3:3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
Eph 3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
Eph 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Paul received the knowledge of the mystery of God by revelation knowledge. The Bible was written by men with revelation knowledge, the inspiration and word of God given through his Holy Spirit to the prophets and apostles. The mystery was spoken of in Ephesians 2, Jew and Gentile are reconciled to God as one family.

Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

This is the time of grace;

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Now is the time to come to Jesus, grace is still available to all people. The age of grace ends when the fulness of the Gentiles comes into the church. Then Jesus will come for his bride (the church) and we will be with him forever. Don't stay around to see the great tribulation that will follow, the time is near, now is the time to receive the Lord in truth. His blood defeated Satan's power and we are free to serve God.

Unsearchable Riches

Eph 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

The mystery, the unknown truth revealed, is that the Gentiles become one with the Jews who have received redemption in Jesus Christ. The Jews who are not in Christ still have little dealings with Gentiles, saved or unsaved by our Lord. In Christ is a new man bornagain of the Spirit of God; all whosoever will receive him by faith.

Eph 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
Eph 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
Eph 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Saul was a persecuter of the Gentiles, but Jesus came to him, now he is Paul the Apostle of the Gentiles. This is the work of grace, repentance, a complete turn around and change of heart. Saul, the Christian hater and killer, became the loving Paul, teaching the beautiful words of the new life in Christ Jesus, the gospel message, the unsearchable riches, who can name them all? There is no end to the riches in Christ Jesus.

Eph 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Who are these principalities and powers who see the manifold, the many ways and workings of the beautiful wisdom of God given through the Church? They are the heavenly angels, the angels of God who are at wonder of the grace of God. (1Peter1:12) (1Tim 5:21) Also, they are the fallen angels and Satan, who have lost their power because of the blood of Jesus, those reserved for the pit of fire, who are the enemies of God. Now they see God at work in the church. Satan thought by killing Jesus on the cross, that God had lost the battle, NO, Jesus has risen and with him many millions follow, children of God with the Holy Spirit of God, doing even greater works.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Eph 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Because we are in the Lord Jesus in heavenly places and he is at the right hand of God, we may come boldly to our Father in all things. Through his power we are able to accomplish his purpose that we were created to do.

Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

The mystery of the Church is revealed, all who are in Christ are called according to his purposes, a trumphant church, for him and with him eternally.

In Tribulations

Eph 3:13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

So I ask that you not to be fearful for me because of my troubles for you, it is done for your benefit, for you are of great worth.

faint not -

2 Cor 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2 Cor 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

at my tribulations -

2 Cor 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
2 Cor 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Rom 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Rom 5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Eph 3:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

Praise and glory to our Father God. He is worthy of our worship and praise. Our Lord Jesus Christ reigns and we are little Christs, Christians, the family that carries his name. He is the head in all things. Over the Church and all principalities and powers.

Gal 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Gal 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

At times we feel warn out, discouraged. Do not give up. Have you given into the flesh, uttered negative words? Do not forget that you serve the most high God who never sleeps. He loves you and knows your weaknesses, yet in him we are strong. Take another breath fix your head forward and press on, the victory is ours in the name of Jesus.

Love of Christ

Eph 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

Jesus is our strength, he comforts and heals our bodies, and yet our bodies will return to dust,, but our innerman, the soul and spirit, that is eternal. We need strength in the inner self, in the heart and center of our being, to continue, to endure afflictions and to be made into the image of Christ, whose name we carry.

Eph 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Eph 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
Eph 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Christ in our hearts, good and loving hearts, how? by faith. We are to be rooted, get our nourishment from Jesus being connected to him and the nourishment making us grow is the love of God and his word. How great is this love we are to be rooted in. It has no boundaries, it is beyond our abilities to hold it all. Lets rest being planted in his love, knowing it is always there because we are in Christ.

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Eph 3:21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

What is this great and miraculous power that works in us? The Holy Spirit of Christ, who brings us the love of God. We are surrounded and immersed in love, will he not in Christ give us all good things?

Psa 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Psa 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psa 103:4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Psa 103:5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
