Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Heleluiah! What the law could not do Jesus accomplished for us. We are forgiven of our sins. Peace is once again restored with our Holy God!
Rom 5:2: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
WE have a God who hears us, by faith we receive his grace. We are saved from our sins, sons of God, heirs of all good things. We didnt earn this, or deserve this, it is by His grace. Jesus died so that we may live. He arose from the grave to prove that we also have life in him.
Jhn 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
WE have the indwelling comforter, he reminds us of Gods promises, His blessings, His love and Peace. He is our ever lasting presence with the Father.
Jhn 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
My favorite verse, Jesus gives us peace, the Holy Spirit reminds us and gives us power to rest in His peace. Not as the worlds peace, the peace of the law is punishment to offenders, Nato Peace, UN Peacekeepers, School guards. True peace is Salvation and the indwelling Holy Spirit
John 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first [day] of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace [be] unto you.
The disciples had heard Jesus say, Peace I give you, but they feared. Jesus once again reassures them.They had not yet received the Holy Spirit, and power to bring peace to any circumstance. The comforter had not yet come.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Peace is one of the Spirit fruits, love encompassing them all.
Rom 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Kingdom food is righteousness, peace, joy in the Holy Ghost. Tasty fruit!
Rom 14:18: For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
Serving Christ in righteousness, peace and joy all by his grace.
Rom 14:19: Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Be led by the Spirit into peace, edify one another.
Pro 16:7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
A missionary friend to China recalled a time when he was asked if he were a christian by a communist party chief. He said that he was. Whereby the Chief hugged him and kissed him on the cheek.
The Lord makes even the enemies to be at peace, but remember if they persecuted Jesus, they will persecute you. God grace gives us peace and protection.
Psa 29:11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
The Lord is our strength and our Peace, whom shall we fear?
Rom 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Show love to everyone, walk in the Spirit, and peace.
Rom 12:19: Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
We have been forgiven, let God avenge the offender. We are not to react in the power of the flesh, Gods power is wisdom, peace, and grace.
Rom 12:20: Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Do good works and he will be convicted.
Rom 12:21: Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Gods way is always good, the Holy Spirit will speak words of grace.Resist the devil and he will flee.
Hbr 12:14 Follow peace with all [men], and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Be holy as he is holy, set apart unto God. We have peace and we can bring peace to our family gatherings, in the work place, wherever we go Gods presence is with us.
Heb 12:15: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
One of the fleshly peace killers is bitterness, look not to self and unfulfilled desires, with your complaints, but look unto Jesus who endured suffering and shame for you.
Heb 12:16: Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
Another peace remover is lust, fleshly desires that fill the mind and heart.
Pro 12:20 Deceit [is] in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace [is] joy.
Put down evil thoughts be renewed with the mind of Christ, let Gods word bring peace
Pro 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
Im not yelling!(pun) Be meek and gentle speaking words that edify.
Psa 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
We should pray for the peace of our own country, and also pray for Jerusalem and the Jewish people. There is a covenant God made with them; I will bless those who bless thee, and curse those who curse thee. We are the true Peacemakers, even more so than diplomatic peace efforts.
Luke 10:5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
Luke 10:6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
I have been in homes where peace abides, and others ruled by strife. My first move to my city was spent in a relatives home where there was no peace, only continual strife. Jesus was not Lord of this home. I was so happy to find a little cabin in the woods alone with God and his creation, at peace. But true peace is receiving Jesus.
Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Unity of believers brings peace.
Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
We are not Pentacostals or Baptists or Methodists. We are one body, those who receive Jesus and make Him Lord of their lives. There is one Holy Spirit, We are called to do Gods purposes and receive an eternal dwelling place where peace is continual.
Psa 133:1 [[A Song of degrees of David.]] Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!
It is good to dwell together in unity, in harmony, in love.
2Cr 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you
Be perfect, be in Christ, grow in his likeness. Live out Holy ghost comfort, comforting one another, be in the mind of Christ, his peace, in Gods love.
2Cr 13:12: Greet one another with an holy kiss. Show affection one to another
