He Took Our Shame

Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Hbr 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who
for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the
shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God

JESUS TOOK OUR SHAME TO THE CROSS

Isa 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Isa 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Bearing our shame alone, separated from His Father

Psa 22:6 But I [am] a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

Psa 22:7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, [saying],

Psa 22:8 He trusted on the LORD [that] he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

Psa 22:9 But thou [art] he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope [when I was] upon my mother's breasts.

Psa 22:10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou [art] my God from my mother's belly.

Psa 22:11 Be not far from me; for trouble [is] near; for [there is] none to help.

Psa 22:12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong [bulls] of Bashan have beset me round.
(Bulls...Roman guards)

Psa 22:13 They gaped upon me [with] their mouths, [as] a ravening and a roaring lion. (lion..satan)

Psa 22:14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

Psa 22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

Psa 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. (

Psa 22:17 I may tell all my bones: they look [and] stare upon me.

Psa 22:18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

Psa 22:19 But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.

Psa 22:20 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.

Psa 22:1 ... A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

The Gospels Account

Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Mark 15:34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Mark 15:35 And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.

Mark 15:36 And one ran and filled a sponge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.
Mark 15:37 And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.

Ashamed (to be), Shame:
"to have a feeling of fear or shame which prevents a person from doing
a thing,"(a) subjectively, the confusion of one who is "ashamed" of anything, a
sense of "shame,

There is no shame in doing the Fathers will

Christians should not be feeling shame and guilt. We were bought out of sin and guilt by our Lord Jesus. Stay in the Fathers will and you will never suffer shame. You may have tribulations, but you can glory knowing you are in Gods love.

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
James 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
James 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Cursed is he that hangs on a tree, yet, he took our curse in the Fathers will doing the work he was sent to do. There was no shame by or wrong doing

Jesus on the cross naked, was humiliation in the flesh, yet he was pleasing the Father who loved us and gave his son for us.

Jesus was tortured and abused, he took our blame, yet was without fault.

Do you feel ashamed, for what reason?

Are you in sin, doing the devils work?

Or are you a disobedient child of God ?

There is no shame in serving jesus. Dont let the enemy put guilt and shame into your mind. Examine every thought with God's word and reject that which is not of him.

Somethings we cannot change,trust God

Mat 6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

Ashamed of something you cant change? Don't let the spirit of the world condemn you.

Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Luke 16:14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Better to serve and please the Spirit of God.

Were you born on the wrong side of the tracks?
Jesus was born in a stable.

What are you doing with his gifts to you?
We are accountable for multiplying our talents for his purposes.

Mat 25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Shame in doing nothing

Those who are not in Christ cannot please him.

Mat 25:28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
Mat 25:29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
Mat 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

For those who are not in Christ there is no taking away of shame, they are condemned,

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Eph 5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

What about those who claim the blood and glory in sin? I wonder about their conversion. If saved, they will still face the consequences of sin in their bodies.

What about leading the weak into sin? Will they not be causing others to fall? They speak tolerance, tolerance for sin. God is not tolerant of those who refuse his Son.They will be judged. The words "tolerance" and "love" do not cover shame, sin and rebellion. They have rejected the one who would make all things new.

Sin is a dangerous condition. Jesus removes the sin, but for those who continue in sin? It is evidence that the heart has not yielded fully to the cleansing of the blood. Without a clean heart there is no conversion. It is "another gospel",

1 Th 4:3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
1 Th 4:4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
1 Th 4:5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

Fear Not

Isa 54:4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
Isa 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
Isa 54:6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
Isa 54:7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
Isa 54:8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

In Conclusion

Rom 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Rom 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Shame comes from breaking Gods commands

All the world is guilty, God is patient but has no tolerance for sin. Remember Christ died for your shame, you are not guilty, not ashamed if you trust in him.

Dont be ashamed of what you cant change

Learn to endure lifes hardships

Mortify the deeds of the flesh and walk in the Spirit

Be fruitful in the gifts of the Spirit

Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
