How Do WE Meditate?
What Is Involved In Meditation?

Meditation is waiting quietly and
patiently before God, putting
our hope in him.

Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation.
Psalm 62:5

Meditation is thinking about
God's word and what God tells
us through his word.

But his delight is the law of the
Lord; and in his law doth
he meditate day and night.
Psalm 1:2

Mediation is a time of seeking
God's guidance and instruction.

I will bless the Lord, who hath
given me counsel: my reins also
instruct me in the night seasons.
Psalm 16:7

Meditation is a time of reflection
on God's past blessings.

I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all thy works;
my heart within me is desolate.
Psalm 143:5

What Should We Think About
When We Meditate?

We should think about things tht are true,
honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable,
excellent, and worthy of praise.

Finally, brethen, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever,
things are just, whatsoever, things are pure,
whatsoever, things are lovely, whatsoever
things are of good report; if there
be any virtue, and if there be
any praise, think on these things.
Phil 4:8
