Summary: The Kings basically demolished the Portland Trailblazers with a final score of 100-78. Giving a perfect demonstration of the Kings depth and chemestry, the Kings were without three starters. Chris Webber didn't play due to a groin injury, Doug Christie was serving his second game suspension, and Mike Bibby is still recovering from the foot surgery. Keon Clark, Hedo Turkoglu, and Bobby Jackson all started for the missing starters. Bobby Jackson came out in the first quarter with more energy than anyone on the court and he finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Gerald Wallace also showed his talent as he put up a double-double, 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively. The Kings are showing that their defense has improved this season and when they all get healthy, things will be scary for the rest of the league.
Injuries: M. Bibby (foot), C. Webber (groin), D. Christie (League Suspension), M. Cleaves (foot) missed the game.

Notes: The Kings have one of the deepest benches in the league. The Blazers are the same way. They have three above average point guards with different attributes. Kings won their first game against Cleveland. Blazers play the Lakers on Wednesday. This will be the return of Arvydas Sabonis and the Kings have a good early season challenge with Portland.
