Summary: After embarassing the Portland Trailblazers two days ago, the Kings continue their snowball effect of domination as they taking out the Memphis Grizzlies 116-99. The Kings got Doug Christie back, but were once again without Chris Webber. But, it doesn't matter because everyone played their role. Six Kings players were in double figures, Divac leading the way with 24 and Bobby Jackson was right behind him with 23. Keon Clark (5 blk) and Doug Christie (2 blk, 3 stl) had stelar defensive performances. The first quarter was close, but the Kings ended up blowing out the Grizzlies the rest of the game. I don't know how many times I watched Jackson feed Vlade down low, then Jackon burning his defender with a backdoor cut for an easy layup. It was like College vs High School with these two teams. No competition. The Kings have higher Basketball "IQ" and the Grizzlies are young guns, very athletic, but have a ways to go. Shane Battier kept Peja in check throughout the game, Peja didn't make one three pointer, and Battier's defense held him to 6-17 shooting (35%).
Injuries: M. Bibby (foot), C. Webber (abdominal pain), M. Cleaves (foot), S. Pollard (lower back spasms) missed the game.
Other: Clark, 10 pts, 10 reb, Turkoglu, 22 pts, 4 reb, Jones, 5 pts, 3 reb, 3 ast, Funderburke, 2 pts, Christie, 7 pts, 5 reb, 7 ast, 3 stl
Impressive Opponent: Pau Gasol, 20 pts, 7 reb, 3 ast
Kings Record: 3-0

Bobby Jackson Watch Out For... Gordan Giricek
Notes: Gordan Giricek dropped 29 points on the Mavs on Oct. 30. He's a pure shooter. Drew Gooden is my prediction for Rookie of the Year. Watch for Bobby Jackson to put up big numbers due to Jason Williams weak defense. Kings are 2-0 and I thought I'd point out that the Lakers are currently the worst team in the league! (Means nothing, just thought I'd never hear it right now.) Grizzlies are 0-1, but have a very talented roster. Doug Christie and Chris Webber are both scheduled to play against Memphis.
