Summary: The Sacramento Kings lost their first game today at Miami. The Heat beat them by ten points, 88-78. The Kings shot horrible, shooting 35% and a dismal 2-14 from the outside. Peja Stojakovic, once again had a bad shooting night as he himself went 2-13, finishing with 7 points. Bobby Jackson, the teams spark plug shot 4-17 and finished with 12 points. All five Miami's starters were in double figures and coach Pat Riley avoided his first ever 0-3 start with the win over the Kings. The Kings are in the midst of a stretch where they'll play four games in five nights. Keon Clark scored 19 points and also had four blocks as the team was once again without three "regulars." Chris Webber, out for the third consecutive game with his abdominal strain, Scot Pollard with his lower back spasms, and Mike Bibby, out for at least another six weeks due to his recent foot surgery he's recovering from. Eddie Jones led Miami with 16 points, and Brian Grant had 10 points and 14 rebounds in 28 minutes.
Injuries: M. Bibby (foot), C. Webber (abdominal pain), M. Cleaves (foot), S. Pollard (lower back spasms) missed the game.
