Summary: The Sacramento Kings remain unbeaten at home with their victory against the Hawks, 105-97. The Kings shot very well as a team. 44% FG's and 38% from the outside. Ahead by four points heading into the final period, the Kings went on a 16-5 run. Bobby Jackson closed the streak with a 3-pointer and a long jumper, giving Sacramento a 91-77 lead midway through the quarter. Chris Webber shot better in the game (13-24 FG) but once again, he is struggling from the free throw line. Coming in tonights game, he was 10-24. Tonight, he was 1-4 against the Hawks. Even though Glenn Robinson was tied for eighth in scoring, he damn near went scoreless in the first half (first 22 minutes). Doug Christie DID go scoreless in the first half, but finished with 19 as he took over the final two quarters. Theo Ratliff is the leagues leading shot blocker, and he had four tonight. The Hawks released center Antonio Harvey earlier in the day and activated forward Chris Crawford. The Kings played good defense against the Hawks, holding Jason Terry to only nine points. He did have ten assits though. Glenn Robinson only had 19. Shareef Abdur Rahim had 32, 14 coming from the free throw line. Next game is against a youth team, the Golden State Warriors.

Notes: The Hawks have a very solid starting line up. All can score and now they have defense. Newble is a lot like Christie with his defense. Three scoring options in Rahim, Robinson, and Terry. Ratliff is in the backcourt and he's a major shot blocker. Should be a legit match up.
