Snapshot History
Grandfather Ramon was born 1898 in Morenci, Arizona to Sabino Montoya and Carmen Sosaja. Great grandfather Sabino was a wagon master in the Arizona territory.
Grandmother Angelina was born in 1906 in Cosenza, Italy in the provence of Calabria to Pascuale Politano and Maria Presta. Her parents moved to Arizona after coming to America. They had three more children,
Teresa, Mary, and Pascuale( better known as Uncle Pat). My great grandparents relocated to Michigan, date uncertain.
Ramon and Angelina's Children
Ramon and Angelina had 12 children. Three died in either infancy or early childhood. Their names are unknown to me.

- Ernestine(D) married Ramon Romero. Their children are Arturo (D), Geraldine, Frances, Fred (D) , and Susie.
- Theresa(D) is the mother of Robert and Gloria. She married Andres Navarette of Tehacapi. Their children are Tommy and Linda.
- O'felia(D) married John Chavez(D). Mary Margaret, John, Julian, Michael, Rosalie, Martin and Robert are their children.
- Edward(D) married Peggy Reza. Kenneth, Patricia, Margaret, Mark, Matthew, Luke, John and Peter are their children.
- Sara(D) married Lalo Cervantes(D) and had three children. They are Angelina, Richard and David. Sara died in the 1950's and I have not seen my three cousins since then.
- Dora(D) married Albert Salgado and had three children from this marriage. Their children are Steven, Kathy, and Gary. Aunt Dora was remarried to Richard Wilson (D). They had one daugther named Janine.
- Raymond is married to Petra Olivas and they have two boys, Mark and Erik.
- Lily married Norman Besand (D). They have two boys, Norman Jr. and Michael. Aunt Lily never remarried.
- William(D) married Rosemary (D) have they have a daughter named Kay Marie, and a son Bill Jr. who lives in Port Orchard, Washington.
