Mrs. I. Fisher of Aspen Dies in 96th Year

ASPEN - Mrs. Isaac Fisher of this community passed away at the Sherbrooke Hospital at an early hour this morning. She had been seriously ill for two months, but had been in failing health for two years after fracturing her hip in a fall.
Born in Clydesdale, Antigonish Co., 95 years ago, she was a daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. James Eadie.
She had lived all her married life in Aspen.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Glenelg, and charter member and first secretary of the Women's Missionary Society which was organized in 1914. She had also been active in other phases of church work, and was a member of St. Mary's Rebekah Lodge.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by one daughter, Sara (Mrs. Harold Hudson), Country Harbor Mines;
three sons, Howard in Aspen,
Everett in Shawinigan Falls, Que.;
Wilfred in Middleton, formerly highways engineer in New Glasgow;
14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Her husband predeceased her in 1938 and she was also predeceased by two daughters, Mabel in Aspen and Ruth (Mrs. Rod Dunbar), Mulgrave,
two sons, Herbert of Sherbrooke, and Eadie of Phoenix, Ariz;
two brothers and four sisters.
The remains are resting at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, King St., New Glasgow, and will be taken to the home of her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Howard Fisher in Aspen, Tuesday.
The funeral arrangements have not been completed.
