Obituary: JACKSON, William Alfred -- 84, Canso,
died Monday in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso.
Born in Lunenburg, he was a retired fish plant worker.
He is survived by his wife, the former Marie Grover,
five daughters, Shirley (Mrs. Fred. Snow), Mulgrave;
Karen (Mrs. Gerald Hanlon), Lunenburg;
Marlaine (Mrs. Vernon Boudreau), Connie (Mrs. Henry Delorey),
Hazel Hill; two sons, Howard, Canso, Fred, Queensport;
20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased
by a granddaughter and a grandson. The body is in
Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso,
visiting 2-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 11 a.m.
Thursday in All Saints Anglican Church, Canso,
Rev. Paul Wilkie officiating. Burial will be in
the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to any charity.
