HARPELL, Malcolm Laurie "Mac" - 71,
Harpellville, Guysborough Co.,
died Friday, December 19, 2003,
in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital,
Sherbrooke. Born in Harpellville,
he was a son of the
late Spencer and Olive (Kaiser) Harpell.
In earlier years, Malcolm was a
carpenter and later worked for Bickerton Industries.
He is survived by
sons, Laurie (Linda),
David (Carol), both of Harpellville; daughters,
Maisie Pye,
Shirley Carmichael, both of Port Bickerton;
Penny Harpell,
Harpellville, brother, Robert (Margie) Harpell,
Port Bickerton; sisters,
Joy Gagnon, Port Bickerton; Faye (Cecil) Willcott,
Chezzetcook; 12
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews. He
was predeceased by
his wife, Myrtle; brothers, James, Ross; sister,
Freda Kaiser.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today with funeral service 2
p.m. Tuesday,
both in Gospel Light Church, Port Bickerton,
Rev. Wayne
Dingle officiating.
Burial in Harpellville Cemetery.
Memorial donations
may be made to the Palliative Care Unit,
St. Mary's Memorial Hospital.
