was buried in Sherbrooke, Guys. Co.,
Following funeral service in St. James
Presbyterian Church.

Born at Port Hilford Lake, Guys. Co.,
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
John E. (Huskins) Scott.
He was a warden
and life member of St. James Anglican
Church.
During the first world war he
was captain
of the navy patrol boat, Dorothy
G. Snow,
and master of sailing vessels
Thelma Falmouth,
Hugh John, E.A. Scribner,
and the Horatio.
He worked for Scotia Lumber
Co.
for many years and been harbor master
on
St. Mary's River since 1936.
Surviving
are three sons, John, Sherbrooke;
Olaf,
Moonbeam, Ont.,and Charles, Dartmouth.
Five daughters, Mary (Allan Barnes),
Lunenburg; Anna (James Phillips),
Scarborough, Ont.;
Ada ( Hector Gaudet),
Lower Sackville;
Emma ( Henry Barnes),
Sherbrooke,
and Lena (John Simpson),
Maryfield, Sask.;
28 grandchildren and
24 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased
by his wife,
the former Martha Jordan,
and three sons,
George, James and Leander.
