MacISAAC, Isabel Catherine - 91, Sheet Harbour, formerly of Guysborough Intervale and Hazel Hill, died December 12, 1998, in Duncan MacMillan Nursing Home, Sheet Harbour. Born in Guysborough Intervale, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Belle (Chisholm) Connolly. Educated at Mount St. Bernard in Antigonish and Nova Scotia Teachers College, Truro, she taught school in numerous communities in Guysborough County, including in the later years of her career Little Dover, Hazel Hill and Canso. She was a former active member of Star of the Sea Parish, Canso. Following the death of her husband, Arthur, she moved to Antigonish and there continued to be an active member of the community, assisting with projects within St. Ninian's Cathedral Parish, St. Martha's Hospital Auxiliary and St. F.X. University assisting with theatrical undertakings. She is survived by daughters, Sharon (Ted) Watt, Quoddy, Halifax Co.; Carmel (Frank) Dolan, Prince Edward Island; Jane (Wayne) Labell, Alberta; stepchildren, Ernie (Gladys) MacIsaac, Alberta; Marguerite (Garnet) Duffy, Ontario; Harold (Bea) MacIsaac, Bernard (Faye) MacIsaac, all of Alberta; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two nieces; two nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur; brother, Donald; a granddaughter, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral mass in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Guysborough Intervale, today at 4 p.m. Interment to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Donations to St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Guysborough Intervale.
