Good Books
I just wanted to share with the world a few books that I've found to be interesting. I don't have a lot of patience for boring books, so if you're not even if you're not an avid reader you may want to check these out. I'll be adding more as I read them.
Shopgirl

This is a great book. It's really frank and gets right to the book. But having been a "shop girl" as described in the book, I wonder how Steve Martin was able to pin down exactly what that feels like. I mean, obviously he's never been young woman working in a boring department store, watching the world go by day after endless day. But it's not a book about a woman working in a shop. It's about a woman making her way through life and learning to be her own, independent person. That's what I think, anyway.BACK
