BAD NEWS!! Andrew Lloyd Webber has announced that Antonio Banderas has been tentatively cast as the Phantom in the movie version of the musical. Now, any true phan can see what a horrible idea this is. You can help! It is rumored that the US National Tour of Phantom will be closing after January of 2001. This is thus far unconfirmed.Update on this rumor: It's NOT true. Ted Keegan has confirmed that there is no plan to close the tour yet.
Ted Keegan took over the role of Phantom in the tour on March 2, 2000. He replaced Brad Little.
