Tony Stewart is in my opinion, is the most exciting and the best all around driver I have seen since A.J. Foyt.
It all began in Columbus,Indiana for Tony Stewart. At age 7, Tony started his career like many young aspiring racing drivers: behind the wheel of a go-kart.

In 1983 when Tony was 12, he won his first championship: the International Karting Federation Grand National Championship.
Then in 1987, at age 16, Tony won another Championship: World Karting Association National Championship.
In 1989 Tony moved from go-karts to open wheelers.
I followed him from his days in the Midget, Sprint & Silver Crown Cars.

Asked if there was an "A.J. Foyt" in racing today, Foyt comes up with only one name. "It's hard to pick any one racer," he said. "But if I had to pick the person who's actually done a lot of the things I've done, I'd go right to Tony Stewart. He races dirt, pavement, road races - he's good at everything he does. He's more like I was when I was coming up."
In 2001 Tony was inducted into the National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame.

He became the first driver in history to win the Triple Crown, by winning the Midget, Sprint, and Silver Crown Car Championships in the same year.
