November 28, 1999 - Sunday
It snowed today. I don't think it will stay, but there is a bit of snow on the ground.
I stayed in bed as long as I could today...which was pretty long. I stayed up very
late (early) last night, finally switching off the light around 6 am. Sigh.
This afternoon I finally watched Grosse Pointe Blank.
I loved it. In fact, I'm re-watching it as I write. There is something about John
Cusack that gets to me. He can play edgy with an underlying sweetness. Here he plays
a hit man who goes back to his high school reunion. It's very funny.
I also made some more Christmas cards, and they look darn nice too. Then I went out
around 11:30pm to go to the convenience store to pay my bill and then to a restaurant
for supper.
Then I came home and called my sister. We had a great chat.
After that I decided, what the heck, and popped the video back in. It's great, but
I did notice a continuity error. In one scene he takes off his hat and puts it on
a bedpost. In the next he is leaving and his hat is in his pocket, but he never took
it off the bedpost. Hmm. Just a little one!
I'll try to go to bed after the movie. I have to go to the bank after all tomorrow.
That and do laundry! I'd really like to invent a washing machine that would wash
and hang up the clothes. That would be cool.
