August 17, 2000 - Thursday
Today was a good day at work....everyone showed up that was supposed to! Yay. But
as usual I'm ahead of myself....
On the way to work this morning I got to see one of those big butterflies up close.
It was beautiful. The wings were an iridescent blue and black. Lovely.
Work was fine. I did have to go and talk to a part-time worker during one of my lessons,
but my student helped me out, so that was nice. The classes went well too, I enjoyed
them all.
It was also Cosmo day. Hurray. It didn't arrive the normal way though, it arrived
through my manager who got it from my old manager! It's kind of funny. I went out
to lunch to celebrate having something new to read. What a treat.
After work I came home and decided to check my e-mail. After that I went on to Netscape
and tried to check Roger Ebert's page, but my browser wouldn't load it properly.
I got angry and decided to find a better browser. So, I surfed around and found
Netscape Navigator 3.04 which is a bit higher and I hope better. I'll keep you posted
though. I'm rather proud that I did that myself. I just hope my computer doesn't
die now!
And that's it for today. Tomorrow I might have to do a model lesson, so I'm a bit
nervous about it. Sigh.
