August 25, 2000 - Friday
Today was a pretty good day. I only had one class, but it went pretty well. It was
my kids group and the last five minutes of class was really fun. I got them to hold
up a letter card and I pretended to be a conductor and had them to say their phonic
sound to make it into a word. It was fun.
After that I worked on my story for the textbook. I don't know where I got the idea
but it was quite funny. It's about a girl who kills a dragon. I have to do a bit
of tweaking on it, but the basic story is done.
Tonight there was an after work party for one of our students. She's going to England
next week so it was a goodbye party. It was fun, I enjoyed it a lot. We ate a lot,
some people drank a lot too!
I came home after midnight and watched ER. In a few minutes I'll go to bed. That's
my day. Not too bad at all.
I thought that today would be very difficult because its the anniversary of my Dad's
death. This is the first anniversary month that I didn't get depressed. I'm glad
about that.
