August 30, 2000 - Wednesday
It was hot again today, but the nice thing is that lately it is cooling off at night.
It makes sleeping a whole lot easier.
I had a good day, even though I didn't teach very much. I asked my manager to help
me open a new bank account so she did that. I'm really glad to get it done. As
an ex-bank employee, I hate paying service charges. Every time I took money out
of my Tsuruoka account I had to pay.
My private lesson went well and was very interesting. My kids lesson went okay, but
the boy was a bit rambunctious again. It was a bit tiring for me!
After I finished my lessons I did paperwork and then I got my story and the dialogues
I had written ready to send to our publishing department. I'm not sure if they'll
be accepted or not, but it's a nice thing to think about. I've always wanted to
do some writing and now I have. Of course I've done some before, on the net, but this would
be in an actual book. Wish me luck.
I got out of the office early tonight and walked home with Justin. I gave him a small
candle that I bought for him at The Body Shop on Monday. It was a candle of English
Summer or something. I just thought it would be nice for him. He also gave me some of my videos and cookbooks back.
Then I settled in front of the TV for 90210 which was darn good tonight and my nightly
phone call. It was a nice one tonight.
And that's it. I'm done for today. I hope tomorrow will be great. I'm a tad busier
then.
