January 1, 2000 - Saturday
I'd like to tell you about my fabulous day that I spent with friends seeing the new
millennium in. I'd like to, but I can't. In actual fact I spent the day entirely
alone, watching videos from home.
Last night when the clock said it was midnight I opened a bottle of Sparkling Apple
Juice and sang "Auld Lang Syne". I watched a bit more telly and then went to bed.
This morning I slept very, very late and woke up to find that I only got one New Year's
card. Hmm. Thanks Ritsuko.
I spent the rest of the day watching TV. That's it. I got a bit caught up on my
American sitcoms and dramas. Didn't do anything more, or less.
Maybe tomorrow I'll even leave the house!
