January 11, 2000 - Tuesday
Today I woke up before everyone else in the hotel room. But, I didn't want to get
up yet! Finally we all started to shake a leg and eventually went for breakfast.
We all wanted to leave for our various destinations early, but it didn't happen!
The restaurants were really crowded, but we got into one after a few minutes wait.The food
was pretty good, and we all ate a lot.
After breakfast two of our group had to leave and then Hitomi and I went to our room,
gathered up our stuff and left. We caught the trains without any problems. We got
to ride the Asahi Max train which is a double decker. The weather in Tokyo was great
but as we went north, it got worse. There was a lot of snow in Nagaoka and finally
in Tsuruoka it was just starting to snow. Hitomi and I decided to share a cab home,
so we did.
The rest of the evening I spent at home. I watched a bit of TV, and a friend of mine
called me and we gabbed for a while. Then, I wrote this. After I post this to my
page, I'm going to go to bed. I'm tired!
