August 27, 2001 - Monday
I had a busy day today, but I didn't do too much.
Again, I was rudely awakened by the road workers at 8:15 or so. What is it about
this country that makes people get up so damn early? I dunno!
I finally got up around 10 and got ready for my lesson. I got dressed and ate breakfast.
Yay!
I went to my lesson and it was raining cats and dogs out there. I couldn't believe
it. My lesson was fine. I missed last week, but I didn't forget too much this week.
After the lesson I headed for the mall by bus. It was nice. At the mall I walked
around, checked the movies playing and made the terrible discovery that there wasn't
a heck of a lot playing that I wanted to see. Why is that? It's just not fair!
I had lunch, walked around some more, had coffee and decided to come home. I took
the bus home because I didn't want to walk all the way up the hill by my house.
I decided that I was going to go out and actually go shopping in the covered malls.
Every day on my way to work, I say that I'm going to, but I never do. So, today I did. I
saw a lot of nice stuff, but I left it a bit late so I didn't buy anything.
I had supper in the Grand Hotel's Chinese restaurant. It was quite nice, except I
had chosen a table by the window and it got a bit cold.
I came home, watched Sabrina, took a bath, then watched ER. I'll probably go to bed
soon. I've been a bit behind on my sleep lately. I've been trying to update all
the files on my homepage, and put them in directories. I've finally done that, so
things should run a little smoother for me, I hope! I had way too many directories, and
I needed to set up some subdirectories.
This can't be very interesting to anyone but me, but anyway, I'm done now. Yay!
It took me a while.
In other news, at the mall I bought the videos of Jumpin' Jack Flash and Payback.
Yay!! I'm crazy, but who cares?
