NEW YORK CITY
OCTOBER 2001

I have been to New York city many, many times before, but for some reason, this visit felt like it was the most important, the most significant.

A month and a half earlier, on September 11th, demonic forces from a radical, extremist foreign organization, successfully carried out their evil mission of destroying one of America's great landmarks, the World Trade Center.

I visited the area now known as 'Ground Zero' and saw first hand the devastation and destruction left behind where the mighty twin towers once stood.

Not only were they two of the tallest structures in the World, but they were also a symbol of American know-how, and a tribute to all hard working Americans all over this great nation.

Last weekend, I heeded New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani's call for us not to have our lives disrupted by acts of evil. To come to New York city and help rejuvenate the economy by spending freely on things very New York.

And that's what I did. I watched an excellent off-Broadway show called Tick, tick...BOOM! at the Jane street theater located at the edge of soho, I ate at local restaurants, and I bought everything from t-shirts, hats, and New York Fire Department sweatshirts, which I will wear proudly, to honor the brave Men and Women, the heroes of the NYPD and FDNY who sacrificed their lives in order to save others on that fateful day of September 11th. They are indeed New York's Bravest and New York's Finest!

And now, without further adieu, my photos from New York, THE GREATEST CITY IN THE WORLD!!
