THE WORLD TRADE CENTER
REMEMBERED...

September 11th, 2001. A day that none of us will ever forget. The day that all our lives were irrevocably changed.

It was the day four giant arliners were hijacked by cowardly terrorists, then crashed into the Pentagon in Washington DC, a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York, sending those towers crumbling to the ground, altering the skyline of lower Manhattan forever.

On this page, I would like to remember that skyline as it once was. The choppy waters of the east river with the giant twin towers looming off in the distance serving as a kind of symbol and testament to the incredible economic might of the United States and a tribute to it's dedicated and hard working people.

These photos were taken during various times in the 1990s. Little did I know that when these pictures were taken, the World Trade Center towers had only a few years left to stand.

But we must let these pictures serve as a reminder that the measure of a people is not in the structures they build, but rather in their overall character and dedication to all that is good and decent in civilization.
