Hard Rock Live Taping

Got home from Boston at noon Monday, e-mailed Val, and left for NJ at 4 pm!! We got up early on Tuesday and took the train into NY, stopped by Duran's hotel (of course no one was around..it wasn't even noon!), and then took off for the Sony Studios. We were hoping that there wouldn't be too many people in front of us in line. We got there, and found that only about 6 people were in front of us...and one of them immediately says "I know you....you were in Boston..." and I met Rianna, a fellow Nickolite. DSJ & RumRunner5 from LK were also there and as the day went on, we met soo many other nice people. For once the Nick fans outnumbered the Simonizers!!
There weren't too many photo ops....we did see them leave the sound check...but I don't have a zoom (YET!!).

The ticket...which was actually useless..they didn't even check them for Duran.

We did get to meet/talk with Joe & Wes...I got a pic with Wes in AC so I got one with Joe this time. They're both really nice guys...and seem genuinely happy to be playing with Duran.

And now...*drum roll*...the infamous fuschia fuzzy hat...only Nick could carry it off..paired up with a pink & red shirt that he wore on the Let It Flow Tour..and silver pants with rhinestones!!! Yum yum!!!
