EXPLANATION - These scenes were created entirely by Photoshoppe 6.0, with uses of textures, sprites, and handmade characters. In each pic, you'll see a long red and green bar sliding across the screen. The red bar is Kitsume's (The fox in the red robe with the sowrD) health. (If she's hit, her health will go down some.) The green is her magic use, and how much she can use at a time for special weapons, or spells. (Spells require certain button actions.) The square on the right has a weapon in it. (The first scene has an axe; the second one has holy water.) These are side weapons Kitsume can use, at the expense of hearts. Some side weapons have different purposes, and can take up more hearts. The circle on the left has a large heart in it. This heart indicates the number of sub weapons you can throw at a time. When the eharts are out, you can't use your sub weapons until you get soem more. Which are hidden in candles. The cnadles are on the sides of the castle, and hold special items (In scene 2) which are either more hearts, sub weapons, or even health potions. The green box with gold embroidery around it, is the enemy's name. Each enemy Kitsume hits or kills, has it's name appear in the bottom right. The numbers coming out of the enemy, indicates how many hit points it lost; until it dies. (This is also true of Kitsume when she is hit by an enemy.) That's how the outer game is.
These screenshots are beginners; and I plan to create more to show mroe simulations and different actions of Kitsume. Some sprites are actual monsters; some are original sprites, still others are homemade. This is all a simulation; a rough draft fo how my game woudl look.
