Dad taught me respect. Both self respect and respect for others.
He taught me to be self reliant. Always be myself.
He taught me love of family and friends.
He taught me generosity but not to the point that others won't stand on their own.
And one thing that has always stuck with me.
Never use ONLY and $$$$$ in the same sentence.
That saying, he always used, doesn't seem like much but it taught me to be money wise.
Spend time with your Dad on Fathers Day either in person or in spirit.
If you can't then call him and let him know you care.
I know how much it means to me and how much it meant to my DAD.
Let DAD know you love him no matter where he is.
Dad a wise and wonderful man.
