Leopard Ladie's Page

Well this page will tell you a little about me, why I fell in love with leopards, how I got my nickname and why I love and enjoy my tattoos.
The main theme of my tattoos involves a jungle theme. When I was 7 years old my parents bought me a leopard bedroom set and that’s when my love of leopards began. Ever since this time I have been collecting leopard and cheetah items. One-half of my wardrobe is leopard print and my entire bedroom is done this way also. People started to joke with me that I was the Leopard Lady, but I liked the spelling Leopard Ladie better and so now that is what I am known as. I am 30 as of 2004 and collect cheetahs, leopards, jaguars, cougars (all wild cats) hummingbirds, butterflies, ect. Some of my hobbies besides collecting things are, cross-stitching, latch-hooking rugs, making decorative plates, candles and soaps. Ok now for a brief history of my tattoos, why I like them and my future plans.
I got my first few tattoos in 1993, they were the prison style tattoos, which mean they were the black and gray homemade ones. My first tattoo was a heart with wings. My second was my hip chain which I designed myself and had Travis Jackson of California do for me. My third tattoo was of a panther on my ankle, my forth was a heart ring tattoo, my fifth a cherry with a bite out of it and my husbands name inserted. My sixth and final homemade tattoo was an eagle with my last name in old english.
The following pictures show the progression from homemade tattoos to professional ones and which new tattoos cover the old ones.

This is a picture of the hip chain I designed and Travis Jackson did.

Shroom man and I have this Chinese eternity symbol as matching tattoos.

This is my first professional tattoo which covered the panther on my ankle, it was done in the summer of 1999.

This was my second professionaly done tattoo. It is a tribal armband with a purple rose and was done in the summer of 1999 by Johnny Sin of California..

This tattoo was designed by Johnny Sin and I. It was used to cover up the heart with wings.

I have always loved seeing hummingbirds and was setting in the living room watching TV one day and two of them came to the feeder hanging in front of the window. They were so beautiful I decided that that is what I would like to cover the old tattoo with.

Another view of my right arm tattoos.

This was the old style tattoo that I wanted covered.

This is my tattoo which covers the eagle one above.I have decided to make this tattoo a half sleeve. It is not complete yet.

All my recent tattoos were done by Johnny Sin. I love his work and plan on having him do many more for me. I already have several already designed, but I have to get my half sleeve done first. I couldn't think of what background I wanted behind it, but have since decided and should have it finished by the end of January.
I have set a limit as to how far I will go with my tattoos. I will never go past my elbows, or from my knees to my calves, and never do my face. That way if I ever need to cover them up I can by wearing everyday clothing and not be uncomfortable. I would like to have a full back piece done someday, AND THAT SOMEDAY IS HERE,it's on its way, you'll see on the next few pages.

I have always admired tattoos since I was a small girl, and my dream was to be in a tattoo magazine when I got older. It hasn't happened yet, but dreams come true sometimes. Tattoos to me are like little pieces of my personality, done in a work of art that I wear and can look at whenever I want. Every one has a special meaning to me, and I look forward to getting many more done.

Here's Jonny doing some inking on me.
