Attitude:
Blackarachnia is the most intelligent of the Predacons, and probably the most dangerous. She hasn't made a direct attack on Megatron yet -- but it's probably only a matter of time. She is the only Predacon willing to show Megatron a little 'attitude'. He flirts with danger by teaching her some of his best and dirtiest tricks. She has little but contempt for the other Predacons.
Relationships:
-Megatron and Blackarachnia have a student/teacher relationship, for now. At least until she sees a chance to make her move. But Megatron sees her as a worthy adversary from whom he himself may learn.
-She definitely sees Waspinator as expendable.
-Scorponok is dense, but useful at times.
-Blackarachnia occasionally will exploit the fact that Tarantulas has a crush on her.
-Inferno is a new element to her. His absolute loyalty to Megatron is a bit of a problem.

Blackarachnia was later convinced to join the Maximals by her love interest, Silverbolt, and because Megatron almost killed her by blasting Optimus Prime and thus changin the course of time. Blackarachnia was very unsure of her new allegiance, though a maximal protoform, she still had many Predacon tendicies. She didn't trust any of the Maximals except Silverbolt and it took a great effort for the rest of the Maximals to earn her trust. When Black Arachnia finally begins to trust the Maximals she allows them to take out the Predacon programing that was installed by Tarantulus, when it begins to threaten her life. However, Tarantlus had installed certain safeguards that would make sure she would never survive the attempt. Rhinox trips one of the traps while removing the programing and Blackarachnia goes offline. Not permanently however, as the Transmetal 2 driver she previously came in contact with reformats her with a Transmetal 2 body.

She utilizes her new abilities in continuing the fight against the Predacons managing to free many of the Maximals in Megatron's second attempt of capturing the Ark. When the Beast Wars ended, she left with the rest of the Maximals to return to the homeworld she never knew....
Beast Machines

Beast Form: Techno-Organic Black Widow

Something had gone terribly wrong when the Maximals reached Cybertron. Blackarachnia had reverted to her orignal beast form with no memory of what happened. The maximals were being hunted down by the Vehicons and quickly met up with each other. They escape into the depths of Cybertron where Optimus encounters an ancient Cybertronian Machine, the Oracle. The Maximals are soon reformated with new Techno-organic bodies.
The maximals continue to fight against the sparkless Vehicons led by Megatron, while trying to piece together what had happened. The maximals soon realize that a few of the number are gone, including Silverbolt. Blackarachnia attempts to find out what happened to him believing that his spark was placed in one of the Vehicon Generals. Black Arachnia continues to fight along side the Maximals to try and bring life back to Cybertron.
