02/11/2002: Transformers news is coming in fast and furious these days! Hasbro showcased there new Transformers toyline at Toyfair yesterday and you can check out awesome coverage of the event, at Altered States Magazine, bwtf.com, and Transfandom.com. There's also a great article on Dreawave Productions featuring new Transformers comic art here. The article also discusses the storyline for the second Transformers G1 miniseries that will be written by Simon Furman. “The proposed story arc, though nothing is set in stone right now, looks set to take us right back to the very start of the war between the Autobots and Decepticon Set on the Transformers’ homeworld of Cybertron. It examines the roots and causes of a conflict that will span millions of years, and spread out throughout the universe.” Thanks to Magnus PI for the heads up. 02/08/2002: If you haven't already caught it, BWTF.com have posted pictures of many of the new Armada toys coming out this fall! Also Transformers.com has added information about this new series.
02/04/2002: Fans of the original Transformers series are getting closer to getting everything they've been waiting for. Meanwhile in page updates, you can swing by the pic of the month section, and take a look at February's pic. You'll also find a profile of HotRod up in the profiles section. If you haven't taken a look at the first 20 or so profiles in a while you should take another look as I've been cleaning up the images in them. There is also a new mp3 from Transformers the Movie in the Sounds Section and a new poll as well. 12/16/2001: Its been a while since the last update, but there's a lot of new things up! They are going to be producing a comic series based on the original G1 characters, as well as an additional series based on the new Transformers! That new series is currently being called Transformers: Armada, and will be released later next year as a new cartoon and toyline! Check out Transfandom.com for more on that.
10/03/2001: The Pic of the Month for October is up, and features an awesome new pic! There is also a new poll up in the Polls section and new catalog scans in the Catalog Archive. I'm trying to finish up many other new things for the site, and they should be ready soon.

Also, I got a Digital Camera the other day, so there will be a bunch of new pics of Transformers Monopoly and my collection up soon. The profiles are delayed for the moment, since the Transformers Techspec archive is down, and that's where I get the info for the bios. Just a quick recap on the main Transformers news. Robots in Disguise toys have hit shelves almost everywhere! Take a look at your local stores and get these awesome figures! Also, the cartoon will begin airing in the first week of September. Botcon came and went already but released exclusive Arcee (repaint TM2 Blackarachnia) and TM Tigatron. (Repaint of Beast Wars Metals Ravage) 06/28/2001: Finally got a few more things added. In Transformers news the next Transformers reissue has been revealed and its the supped up version of Power Master Prime: God Ginrai! This transformer comes in a giftset and beyond having diecast metal parts (which powermaster prime lacked) it also comes with a second Transformer (God Bomber) which can merge to from God Ginrai! Check it out or preorder it at BigBadToyStore. 06/07/2001: Still working on that new set up. Anyways as far as updates go, Bludgeon has been added to the Profiles section and I've also began some changes on some of the older profiles. Also the Comic section has been fixed up a bit and I realized a lot of the pictures there were dead links, so those are all fixed as well. Also in the sounds section, you'll find new mp3's including the cartoons 3rd season outro, "Unicron's theme" and "2005" from the movie. BigBadToyStore announced even more 2 pack exclusive Transformers reissues. Including Grapple/Inferno, Ramjet/Thrust/Dirge, and Hoist/Trailbreaker. However, these 2-packs will have a limited run of 1000 pieces, so they will be very rare and expensive, check out BigBadToyStore for more info and ordering information. 04/02/2001: Man I missed out on doing any April Fools jokes! Anyways, I picked up the Beast Wars Classic episodes DVD, and did a big review of it for a new section I'm working on. You can scope the review here. More reviews will be added shortly. Will Mangin and Rowan French have submitted a ton of awesome artwork to the sketched Transformers section. Also one of Will Mangin's computer colored sketches has been added to the 2d colored Transformers section. 03/22/2001: Another small but very cool update today. Dave Theodoropoulos has submitted a sweet piece of Hot Rod fanart to the 2D Transformers section, go check it out! 03/20/2001: Just a quick little update today, Runamuck's Profile has been added. Since we are nearing the end of 2000, I thought I would mention the future toy lines of Transformers. It was revealed a little while back that Hasbro will be releasing two Transformer lines in 2001. The first is a continuation of the Beastmachines series called: "Battle of the Spark". The molds for this series look much more show accurate and look quite nice. The second very exciting line is currently called "Transtech Transformers". This line will re-introduce realistic vehicular Transformers and bring back old favorites Optimus Prime and Megatron! Keep an eye on Unicron.com for new pictures and information. 11/20/2000: Sorry for the lack of updates. I was on a trip the past couple weeks but now you can expect weekly updates once again! For this week Swindle has been added to the Profiles Section. Also a call to all artists, I am in need of black and white line art for the Beast Wars Monopoly cards. Rather than having just my art I thought it would be cool to feature a few different artists. You can email me at prowl34@home.com if your interested. In Transformers news it has been announced that the original Megatron toy will be Takara's new re-release for 2001. However, American customs will not allow these toys to be imported from Japan because they don't meet current toy gun laws. (which were formed after Meg's original release in 1984 and states they can not resemble a real gun) A few online stores say they will still carry the toy, but this obviously will make it much more difficult to get a hold of a coveted Megs without paying ridiculous Ebay prices... Also Block Buster has released an exclusive Rhino Transformers video! It has Five episodes including the first 3 Episodes of the series: More Than Meets the Eye. Get a hold of it if you can! 10/31/2000: Happy Halloween! In spirit of this holiday, I have a special treat for you! Also there is a new pic up in the fanart section, a pic of my CG Sideswipe. 09/21/2000: Bonecrusher's Profile is now up! 08/31/2000: Well I went ahead and put a frame in. I still got a bit of tweaking to do on it. What do you think? 08/30/2000: Another new section is up! Geez I'm going to have to put a couple frames in soon to sort out this mess.
