"Kindness is no virtue...and cruelty is no vice."
Profile: One of the most feared Decepticons, Scorponok's name drives fear into his enemies. An unstoppable and brutal fighter, despair and isolation are all that remain in his wake. He believes the poor should be exploited, the weak, oppressed, and the noble corrupted. The only thing that actually brings Scorponok pleasure, is the pain and suffering of others. His cunning and ambition, also made him the most worthy candidate to usurp the Leadership of the Decepticons when Megatron left Cybertron. He took this opportunity to decimate the Autobot's forces on Cybertron. The Autobots could no longer take the conflict and most of them retreated to the planet Nebulos.
The Autobots did not find peace however, and quickly made enemies with some of the denizens of Nebulos. One of them, Lord Zarak, contacted the Decepticons and alert them of the Autobots whereabouts. When the Decepticons arrived to dispose of their enemies, they found the Autobots had gained new strength and power. Scorponok with some apprehension soon underwent the same treatment, which involved bio-engineering the Nebulans to become their heads.
Scorponok became binary-bonded to Lord Zarak, a prestigious member of the supreme governing body of Nebulos. Zarak seemed to be a man of honor, however, Zarak was truly ambitious and had a strong dislike of Galen, the leader of The World Watchers. His personality, desire for power, and intelligence, made him a very compatible choice for merging with Scorponok.
Scorponok as a Headmaster possessed increased battle prowess and intelligence. Lord Zarak's emotions, also began to change Scorponok over time, becoming a more merciful and intuitive being.
