1986-1987 MCI 102A3

The oldest buses in the GLI fleet are the MCI 102A3s. These buses are slowly being withdrawn from the fleet as GLI acquire wheelchair lift buses. These 102A3s are used on charters, and on extra sections.

1992-1998 MCI MC-12

The MC12 is the workhorse in the greyhound fleet has over 1200 of these MC12s. A handful of these MC12s were handed over to Golden State Lines.

1998 MCI MC12. GLI # 3176. This was the last MC12 to be delivered to Greyhound.

1996-1998 MCI D3

The MCI D3s were the first buses in the fleet to have the Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine. Greyhound has about 95 of these buses. About 20 of these buses were retrofitted with wheelchair lifts.

1998-1999 MCI 102DL3 (6000-6339,6500-6519)

These 102DL3s in the GLI fleet were manufactured in 1998 and 1999. These buses ( besides #6016 and # 6017 ) are in the old Greyhound scheme. #6500-6519 were the first batch of DL3s to be wheelchair lift equipped.

These 102DL3s are in the new scheme. These were manufactured in 1999-2000

2001 MCI D4500 ( 6600-6619 )

The 6600s are the newest of the D series Greyhound fleet. Greyhound have 20 of these buses. 15 of these buses (6600-6614) are used nationwide ... and the other 5 ( 6615-6619) are used on the Greyhound Quiklink Commutter Service between San Francisco and Sacramento. These buses are wheelchair accessible and have a seating capacity of 55 passengers (6615-6619) have a capacity of 51 passengers.

2000 MCI G4100 ( 3200-3214 )

GLI took delivery of the G4100s in 2000. There are 15 of them in the fleet. Some G4100s were also purchased for Golden State Bus Lines.

2001 MCI G4500 ( 7000-7125 )

The G4500s is a stretched version of the G4100s. These buses seat 55 passengers, includes a wheelchair lift.
