Before placing an order with us, it is advisable that you read this page. Although the basic instructions and the Shipping Polices are listed on each page, This page lists the Refund and Return Policy, the Layaway Policy, and the Overseas Shipping Policy.
REFUND AND RETURN POLICY
PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO refunds on items that cost less than $10! A refund will only be issued if the item cost $10 or more. You may request a refund if:
A *major* defect of the item was failed to be listed. (an example of a major defect would be a hole in the fabric of the dolls' body, a tear, etc.
"Fuzzies" on the yarn of the doll's hair is not a major defect.) You must cover your own shipping costs, if you return the item in order to receive a refund. You must also request a refund within 3 days of receipt of the item. It is up to you to ask questions regarding small details of any item's condition. You must send the item back in the condition it was recieved - Receiving money back AND keeping the item is not an option. No returns or refunds if you decide you simply no longer want the item. You will not receive your refund until the item is returned to Jelly Bean's in the condition in which it was sent out. As always,
Jelly Bean's is not responsible for non-insured items that are destroyed or lost in the mail.
LAYAWAY PLAN
Due to several requests, a layaway plan is available for items which cost $50 or more. The plan is available ONLY for a single item that is $50 or more, and not for several items combined that equal $50 or more. The item must cost $50 or more BEFORE the shipping charges are added to the total. To use this plan, 50 percent of the total must be paid immediately. The other 50 percent should be sent within 2 weeks. PLEASE NOTE: If the second half of the payment is not received after 2 weeks after the first payment is received, the layaway plan will be void and the item will be available to others again. There are *no refunds* on money down for layaways. I am sorry to have to do this, but it is the only way to enforce that the trasaction is completed.
OVERSEAS SHIPPING
Jelly Bean's Cabbage Patch now ships Overseas! In order to have your item or items shipped to you outside of the United States and Canada, your order must first total $20 USD BEFORE shipping costs. You must also agree to the following:
a) A $10 handling fee will be added to all overseas orders
b) You must agree to pay either surface or air mail to have your order shipped to you. Please specify which one you would like when you order.
c) The total cost of your order with shipping and the handling fee MUST be paid in United States currency ONLY and be payable with an INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDER which is valid for cashing in the United States of America.
Our Track Record: We have had exactly 2 unhappy customers out of 340 dolls sold. References are available for those who feel they need them. We will not change our polices due to threats or those who feel it necessary to bad mouth us due to buyer's remorse. Many of the customers who purchase dolls from our collection are repeat customers. There is a reason for this. We thank each and every one of you who have done repeat business with us and will continue to provide you with the fairest service avaialble.
