- I am currently employed as a freelance, part-time commercial artist for The Irish News, for which I design ads and special features, prepare photographs for publication (retouch, restoration, etc.) and design standing heads for columns. I also design booklets, brochures, posters, and signs for the Sean Fallon Walsh Theater and The Celtic Arts Center in Studio City.
- I have an Occupational Certificate in Journalism, and worked for seven years as an editor, newswriter, copywriter, columnist, and proofreader for a small town newspaper (now defunct).
- My art work has appeared in The Encyclopedia of Tarot; Fantasy Book; Weirdbook; Whispers; The Irish News; and Michael's Arts & Crafts. I have designed t- shirts, brochures, posters, flyers, signs. murals, letterheads, invitations, business cards, and certificates. I do human and animal portraits (including miniature), surrealism, fantasy, and mythology in pen and ink, Spectracolor, collage, pastel, pencil, watercolor and acrylic, as well as on the computer.
- I have taught Calligraphy and Decorative Furniture Painting techniques at Arroyo Seco for Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Dept. and San Fernando Parks and Recreation, and The Celtic Arts Center in Hollywood.
- My etchings, paintings and drawings have been shown at The Weidman Print Gallery and Cafe Beckett in Hollywood, CA; The Raven Playhouse in North Hollywood; Sharing Dreams in Encino; and the La Caņada-Flintridge Library Gallery.
- I have many college credits in Computer Graphics and Publication Design, as well as in Art History, and Fine and Commercial Art and Design. I have experience with Photoshop, Quark and Word on Macintosh.
