1. State the intended general topic for the research paper.

2. Provide a discussion of the issue that you would like to research. Identify the arguable points that are of particular interest. The discussion should be approximately 100 - 125 words or possibly longer.

3. Provide a possible thesis for the paper (This would be the length of a traditional thesis statement for an essay or research essay.).

4. Provide a summary of three articles that you have researched. Before the summary give the bibliographic citation for the source. For the purpose of this assignment, the length of the summary should be about 10%- 20% of the orignial text.
