The first EPHEMERON cd-r release removed all the beat structure of
the previous recordings and opted for an all-out soundscape approach.
And, yes, the rumors are true: this album was created with a broken
synthesizer stolen from a church. (It has since been returned.) Difficult,
intense, and amazing, this album was considered by many noise afficianados
to be the best of 1999. Recorded at Naepesh and mixed by Apgar and Bill
Sannwald at J.A.M.S.
