Happy Holidays! I hope that everyone has being doing well since the last journal. The off-season is going by very quickly and it seems as if February, when we’ll head down to Daytona, is just around the corner. It has been extremely busy here at our shop. We’ve been building cars for the 2000 season, both for the Busch Series and the Winston Cup Series. We have some test dates ahead of us in January and that will really help us nail down everything for the upcoming season. I feel very confident in this team and what we can accomplish. We definitely have the right attitude and skill to have a great year. Although we’ve been busy at the shop there has been plenty of time to enjoy myself this holiday season. After traveling over 30 weekends this year, I stay pretty close to home for the majority of my time off. I still do some appearances during this time, but not nearly as many as during the season. We also use this time to prepare for next year as far as our sponsors are concerned, in terms of photo shoots, visiting the corporations, and planning what we want to accomplish off the track for the 2000 season. Let me get to the main reason why I wanted to write to y’all today. I just wanted to wish you a very happy and healthy holiday season. My thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you as we head in to the new millennium. So, from all of us in the Petty family, we wish you all a very merry Christmas, and a happy New Year, and we hope that Santa brings you everything you wished for. Have fun, be careful and stay safe during this holiday season. I definitely want to see all of you at the track next year. God Bless, Adam
