My Mission

Wolves are not only my favorite animal, but they are the most mystical of them all. Native Americans saw them as "guardians." Wolves are constantly being hunted as "killers," when in fact, wolves are afraid of humans. If a human is sensed within the territory of a wolf pack, the pack will move as FAR away from that scent (( of the human )) as possible. My Mission: Is to teach people and educate them about the TRUTH reguarding wolves and wolf behavoir. Many people remember stories such as Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, and so on. Cartoons and stories alike have given wolves a bad reputation. Many ranchers also 'fear' for their livestock, thinking wolves will eat their sheep, cows, etc. Granted, if food is very scarce, and livestock is near and available (( meaning not fenced )), then there are no guarantees that livestock will be safe. Defenders of Wildlife help pay for killed livestock which are PROVEN to have been attacked by wolves.

I plan to become a "Wolfologist". (or in other words a Wolf Biologist). My dream is to study and help protect the well-being of wolves within the U.S.A., to help educate people about the truth reguarding wolves, and to study wolves (learning everything there is to know about them) and in this way helping protect them. I will be doing this for the rest of my life. My goal is to help disseminate the truth about wolves through education, wolf-love, reality, and everything that is great and wonderful (to me and others) about wolves in the world.

Important Note: The adults will teach the young pup to trust his/her instincts and intelligence. Shomehow, deep within, they sense that this important work will determine the survival of their kind; that they are the guardians of tomorrow. For this, the Native Americans have long respected the wolf for its fierce loyalty, and admired it for the keen hunting skills it has developed.
