Seattle's Museum of Flight has a flyable B-17F on display . . . B-17G (re-named "Preston's Pride" for USAF MG Maurice Preston who flew it on its last flight in 1958, is on display at Tulare,CA's Mefford Field as a war memorial . . . Castle Air Museum, Atwater, CA has a B-17G "Virgin's Delight" on static display . . . Britain's Duxford Field, Cambridgeshire, England (Imperial War Museum) also includes a B-17G "Mary Alice" in its American Air Museum Click. . . The original B-17F "Memphis Belle" is displayed in Memphis and has not flown since 17 July 1946. . . . B-17G "Shoo Shoo Shoo Baby" , 24 combat missions, at the USAF Museum, Dayton, Ohio. . . The "Picadilly Lil", a former 8th Air Force B-17G is undergoing restoration at the Chino, CA Airport Planes of Fame . . . EAA, Oshkosh, Wisconsin flys the "Aluminum Overcast" , visited Visalia, CA in 1998 & 2001. . . Confederate Air Force's flying B-17G "Texas Raiders" 1994 Picture at Port Clinton with Ken O'Brien. . . . "Chuckie" , a flying B-17G of the Vintage Flying Museum, Ft.Worth, TX . . . Air Force's Armament Museum, Elgin AFB, Florida displays "Gremlin's Ghost" . . . The "Sentimental Journey" , B-17G, Confederate Air Force Ghost Squadron, AZ, visited Visalia & Fresno, CA April 18-20th, 2000. . . . Collings Foundation's B-17 "909" & B-24 "All American" are on their west coast tour in May: [May 19-21 in Torrance, CA] June return to the East Coast . . .
