Shadows of people telling me what was right n' wrong, I watched you leave my sight..
Living life, playing house and feeling my heart break knowing you left my life..

In the times of sorrows and regrets, just know the day we first met, I will never forget..
In one hand the heart holds true, and the other is only one wish to come true..
And that's to be with you, my grown soul has built a wall in the corner..

Ending each day til the next, living apart was so hard, those were the days...
Phone calls, letters, sadness, emptiness, revealed how we fed off each other, those were the days...
Goodbyes never felt so cold until the day we parted forever, those were the days...
