Most Fire Districts Receive 'A' Grades For Inspections

Using an A through F grading system, the Nevada County civil grand jury granted A's to districts that inspected all their respective places of public assembly last year.
B's went to districts that inspected most places, C's to districts that inspected some places, and D's to districts that inspected few or no places.
A's went to the Grass Valley, Nevada County Consolidated, Ophir Hill, Higgins, Rough and Ready and 49er fire protection districts.
No district received a B, and Nevada City received a C.
Penn Valley, Donner Summit and Truckee received D's, and the lone F went to Peardale-Chicago Park.
